About the project

The clients wanted maximum storage in a minimal footprint, ensuring the area stayed organized and safe for kids. At the same time, they hoped the design could be reimagined later as an adult-oriented space such as a bar or lounge corner once the children grew older.

  1. Designed built-in storage solutions that could neatly contain toys now but later serve as cabinets for glassware or books.
  2. Maximized every inch of space, including adding a custom table surface over an existing vent.
  3. Prioritized a kid-friendly aesthetic with rounded edges, durable finishes, and easy access shelving while still keeping the palette sophisticated enough for future adaptation.

Project results

The finished design provided the family with a practical and playful play area that seamlessly integrates into the main living space. With clever storage and adaptable features, the room was set up to evolve while offering long-term value and making the small footprint feel spacious and functional.
